Who operates Moonlit Doors

Information collected
Moonlit Doors may collect email addresses, recipient names, project titles, important dates, colour and theme choices, customer photographs, image descriptions, messages, project briefs, approval decisions, requested changes, delivery details, payment references, and customer-support correspondence.
Why information is used
We use account and project information to provide the builder, save designs, prepare previews, make and deliver calendars, and provide customer support. We use order and payment references to administer purchases, meet legal obligations and handle disputes. We use product-update email addresses to send product updates where you have asked to receive them. These uses rely, as applicable, on taking steps at your request, performing a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent for marketing, and legal obligations.
Photographs and personal messages
If you choose an AI writing or planning feature, the text you submit for that feature, which may include recipient names and personal details, is sent to the configured AI provider (Google Gemini or Groq) to generate suggestions. Do not include sensitive information. AI suggestions are optional; you can build a calendar without them. Provider processing is subject to that provider's terms and privacy information. Customer photographs and messages are used for the associated calendar and support. You must have permission to provide the content you upload.
Storage and service providers
The service uses Supabase for account, project and image storage; Vercel for hosting; Stripe for payment processing when checkout is enabled; and Resend for transactional email when configured. AI writing requests are sent to Google or Groq only when that feature is configured and used. These providers process data to provide their services and may process it in other countries under their applicable safeguards. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and calendar-project information while needed to provide the service and support the customer. Order, payment and invoice records are kept for the periods required by tax, accounting and other laws. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and maintain appropriate records. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We then delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to retain it.
Your rights and choices
You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, depending on the legal basis and circumstances. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. You can unsubscribe from product updates at any time. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
